        • IPK 386 – An exploration of the philosophies of the knowledge holders of Turtle Island and their connection to Indigenous peoples worldwide. Students will develop understanding and appreciation for the validity and relevance of the alternative perspective of Indigenous philosophies and the modern world.
        • EDUC 300 – Provides opportunities for prospective teachers to start becoming reflective practitioners. Content includes contemporary educational theories, research, and pedagogy. Topics include strategies of teaching, learning, assessment, classroom management, differentiation, and school governance. Includes school observations and/or case studies.
        • HSER 120 – Introduces students to effective interpersonal communications for human services. Topics include active listening, building rapport, conflict resolution, cultural humility, emotional intelligence, empathy, Indigenous cultural safety, personal and professional values, use of self, verbal and non-verbal communications, paraphrasing, questioning, and worldview.
        • MATH 105 – Provides direct experiences with elementary school mathematics, allowing students to explore their reasoning strategies and gain greater understanding and confidence in their mathematical abilities. Topics include problem solving strategies, sets, numeration systems, properties of real numbers, number theory, and geometry.
